BIJAPUR: Noted theatre personality and Gubbi Veeranna award-winner Pundalikappa Basappa Dhuttargi (80), who died in a private hospital in Bagalkot on Thursday, was cremated in his native village, Sulibhavi, in Hunagund taluk of Bagalkot district on Friday. He is survived by two wives, two sons and five daughters. Incidentally, Mr. Dhuttagi’s death came at a time when one of his wives, Sarojamma, was receiving the Rajyotsava Award from the Governor.
