Seminar on learning disabilities

KASARAGOD: The Department of Teacher Education, Kannur University and Kasaragod Rotary Club are jointly organising a seminar on the subject “Learning Disabilities, The Concept and Key Issues,” at the Kasaragod Municipal Conference Hall on November 5. Vice-Chancellor of Kannur University P. Chandramohan will inaugurate the seminar at 9.30 a.m. that day.

B.K. Anitha, fellow, National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, will deliver the key-note address. V.G. Nayanar, district director for community services of the rotary district 3200 will preside over the function.

First technical session will be held from 11.15 a.m. to 12.15 noon. Second technical session will be from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. The valedictory session will begin at 4.30 p.m.

Kannur University pro-vice chancellor K. Kunhikrishnan will deliver the valedictory address. C.N. Balakrishnan Nambiar, clinical psychologist would preside over the meeting.
