Civic reception for O.N.V. Kurup

KOLLAM: O.N.V. Kurup, poet and this year’s Ezhuthachan Puraskaram winner, will be honoured at a public reception here on Monday. The programme is being organised by the district administration through the Information and Public Relations Department with the support of the district panchayat and the city Corporation.

The function, to be held at the T.M. Varghese Memorial Hall, will be inaugurated by Education Minister M.A. Baby.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister C. Divakaran will preside. Mayor N. Padmalochanan; P. Rajendran, MP; and Kollayil Sudhevan, Acting President of the district panchayat, will speak. — Staff Reporter
