PATHANAMTHITTA: The consecration of the newly built headquarters of the Niranom diocese of the Jacobite Syrian Christian Church was held at Mazhuvangad, near Thiruvalla, on Friday afternoon. Catholicos Baselius Thomas-I led the consecration service. Joseph Mar Gregorios Metropolitan, secretary of the Jacobite Church Synod and Geevarghese Mar Koorilos Metropolitan of the Niranom diocese were the co-celebrants. Transport Minister Mathew T. Thomas inaugurated the public meeting held as part of the ceremony.
