Congress MLA defends withdrawal of cases

Kakinada: Congress MLA Mutha Gopalakrishna has justified the withdrawal of cases filed against him and some other Congress leaders and workers by former municipal chairman Beeraka Chandrasekhar.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he said there was nothing wrong in the government’s action as it was meant for clearing the unimportant cases pending for so long which are not of public interest.
