Freak incident

Berhampur (Orissa): In a freak incident, a hunter allegedly shot dead one of his associates mistaking him to be a wild animal at Ambatadiha forests in Orissa of Ganjam district, police said.

The accused, Satya Karjee, who allegedly killed Mangala Karjee, 42, was arrested and a country-made gun was seized from him near Tumba under Jarada police station area, they said. Police came to know about the incident after the wife of the deceased lodged a complaint. -PTI
