Professor to get literary award

PUDUCHERRY: P. Raja, English professor at Tagore Arts College, will receive this year’s literary award from ‘Thisai Ettum,’ a quarterly journal, for his translation of Tamil novel ‘Chayathirai’ into English, a press release said.

The award, which carries a cash prize of Rs, 10,000, a certificate and a shield, will be presented on November 9 in Chennai.
