NEW DELHI: Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam Satsangam, R. K. Puram, is conducting a Vishnu Sahasranama recitation competition for school children here on November 18 at Devi Kamakshi Mandir, opposite JNU, on Aruna Asif Ali Road.
Children from all schools in the Capital can take part in the competition for which the syllabus is as follows: Group I (Kindergarten classes-Age below 5 years--10 slokas starting from Viswam Vishnu...; Group II (Classes I and II)--slokas 1 to 20; Group II (Classes III to V)--slokas 1 to 50; Group IV (Classes VI to VIII)--slokas 1 to 100; Group V (Classes IX & X)--Full text; Group VI (Classes XI & XII) Full text and meanings.
