TUMKUR: The police arrested 73 persons at Nadumavanahalli in Tumkur district on Friday after two groups clashed following a row over distribution of ration cards. Chikkanayakanahalli Taluk Magistrate D. Aswathanarayan has clamped ban orders in and around the village. The police said the situation in the village and its surroundings was under control. Additional forces were stationed in the village.
