BANGALORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to launch an indefinite round-the-clock dharna by its legislators and leaders in Bangalore from Saturday till Governor Rameshwar Thakur invites its leader B. S. Yeddyurappa to form the government. The BJP State unit president D. V. Sadananda Gowda said here on Friday that party senior leaders including Mr. Yeddyurappa would take part in the protest to be held in front of the Mahatma Gandhi statue on Mahatma Gandhi Road in Bangalore. The Janata Dal (Secular) too has expressed its support to the protest, he said. The protesters would not leave the venue till they get an invitation from the Governor to form the government.
