TTD urged to simplify steps for issuing ‘e-darshan’ tickets

Staff Reporter

TIRUMALA: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has been requested to simplify the procedure involved in the issuance of darshan tickets at all its ‘e-darshan’ counters.

A devotee Bapiraju of Secunderabad on Friday urged TTD Executive Officer K. V. Ramanachary durng the ‘Dial TTD E.O.’ programme to initiate steps in this regard.

He said the present system demands the presence of all family members at the ‘e-darshan’ counters. This could be simplified if any one of the family members was allowed to purchase the darshan tickets on behalf of all the family members.

In reply to another question Mr. Ramanachary said the management was already extending the ‘Mahadwaram entry’ to all senior citizens for darshan of the Lord.
