Court relaxes Monica Bedi’s bail condition

J. Venkatesan

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Friday granted permission to Bollywood actor Monica Bedi to move freely within the country.

A Bench of Chief Justice K.G. Balakrishnan and Justice R.V. Raveendran relaxed the bail condition on an application filed by her.

Senior counsel K.T.S. Tulsi submitted that the bail condition restraining the actor from leaving Hoshiyarpur was a hindrance to her career. The Bench in its brief order said that she could move freely but should inform the police about her movements.
