State junior hockey from Nov. 16

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The 37th State junior hockey championship will be held at the GBHSS ground, Manjeri, from November 16 to 18.

Fourteen teams, including champion Thiruvananthapuram and runner-up Thrissur, will take part in the three-day tournament. The tournament will be played on a league-cum-knockout basis.

The semifinals will be played on November 17 and the final the next day.

The groupings:

Group ‘A’: Thiruvananthapuram, Palakkad, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta; Group ‘B’: Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad and Idukki; Group ‘C’: Kollam, Ernakulam and Malappuram; Group ‘D’: Thrissur, Kottayam and Kasaragod.
