VISAKHAPATNAM: Director of Gitam Institute of Foreign Trade V.L. Rao called upon coffee growers from the agency to discard the idea that it was the sole responsibility of the Government to market their produce.
At the inaugural of a three-day short term executive programme on “Fundamentals of Business Models for Coffee Growers in Non-Traditional Areas” here on Friday, he said unless traditional growers took keen interest on marketing their produce apart from improving quality the future would be bleak.
Programme Coordinator M. Panduranga Vithal from IIPM, Coffee Board Joint Director (Extension) M.C. Ponnana and Deputy Director (Paderu) M.G. Madani spoke.
