Play it again, BLT

Staff Reporter

BANGALORE: Bangalore Little Theatre (BLT), which staged 11 shows of “The Ungrateful Man” at the end of August (of which nine ran full house), has been invited by Ranga Shankara to perform four more shows in November to coincide with Children’s Day. The second set of shows will be over four evenings from November 13 to 16. Tickets, priced at Rs. 100, will be available at Ranga Shankara.

Adapted from a tale from the Panchatantra by the legendary David Horsburgh, whose work in reaching high-quality education to the poor in rural Karnataka has been widely admired, this play won the hearts of countless children and families when it was staged a couple of months back.

The play appeals to those who like folk tales and empathise with the characters wandering in the forest, befriending animals and counting on them in times of trouble. The play offers wholesome entertainment for the entire family.
