No bursting of crackers after 10 p.m.

PUDUCHERRY: In the run up to Deepavali, the Member Secretary Puducherry Pollution Control Committee in a press release has reminded the public that the Supreme Court has imposed a ban on bursting crackers between 10 pm and 6 am.

A press release from the Committee said the apex court had also banned bursting of crackers within 100m of hospitals, places of worship, educational institutions and court buildings.
