Press Club awards presented

MALAPPURAM: The educational awards instituted by Malappuram Press Club were distributed to the children of journalists at a function held here on Saturday. P.V. Abdul Wahab, MP, gave away the awards to T. Sruthi, daughter of P.N. Sreevatsan, senior photographer at Malayala Manorama; K.T. Shahina, daughter of K.T. Abdul Azeez, senior subeditor at Madhyamam; and Femi Onatt, daughter of Francis Onatt, reporter at Mangalam.

The awards were given for academic excellence.
