Gorakhpur (U.P.): A woman poisoned her two daughters to death and committed suicide by consuming it herself in Rustampur area of the town on Saturday, police said. The woman took the extreme step due to poverty, they said. All the three were taken to the district hospital where the children were declared brought dead and the mother was referred to another local hospital where she died about half an hour later.
