CIL Foundation Day

BHUBANESWAR: Public sector Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), the youngest subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), hosted different programmes at Burla, its headquarters, and at other project areas to celebrate CIL Foundation Day.

A mini marathon race was flagged off by S. R. Upadhyay, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of MCL.

The CMD also hoisted parent company flag as the CIL Corporate song was sung by the assembly consists of directors, Chief Vigilance officer and other staff. Students who had won painting and patriotic song contest were given away prizes. After that, a baby show was organised at MCL Hospital. A workshop in memory of J.G. Kumaramagalam, the first CIL Chairman, was organised at the auditorium.
