‘Identify anomalies in contract labour laws’

BANGALORE: As justice always depended on law there was a need to identify anomalies in the existing laws, particularly those pertaining to contract labour, said B.S. Patil, judge, Karnataka High Court.

He was addressing a seminar on contract labour organised by the legal cell of Bharathiya Mazdoor Sangh here on Saturday. He said he developed interest in contract labour laws since his student days although it was considered a “dry subject.”
