Heavy rain continues

Nagercoil: Heavy rain continued to lash various parts of the district on Saturday. People in low-lying areas were put in untold hardship as rainwater entered their houses. Tapping of rubber milk was affected in Vilavancode, Thovalai and Kalkulam taluks.

Following incessant drizzle that soaked the district since Friday night, several parts of Tirunelveli experienced significant rainfall on Saturday also.
