BANGALORE: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State unit president D.V. Sadananda Gowda on Saturday reiterated his charge that the Congress was blocking the Government formation. He was participating in the party’s three-day round-the-clock dharna in Bangalore to exert pressure on Governor Rameshwar Thakur to invite its leader and former Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa to form the Government. Mr. Sadananda Gowda told The Hindu that the protest would conclude on Monday. He said the Congress, which had lost the 2004 elections badly, had no mandate to rule the State. The party would continue its “save democracy” campaign.
