NEW DELHI: An undergraduate student of Delhi University wanted in connection with the murder of his friend Aditi Gupta, whose body was found in Rajasthan last August, was arrested by the Delhi police from Peera Garhi over the weekend.
Aditi Gupta, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, had gone missing on August 21.
Her body was found at Churu in Rajasthan three days later.
A case of murder was registered at the Rajgarh police station and three persons — Virender, Rajkumari and Umrao Singh — were arrested. Praduman, who was the prime accused, was however evading arrest.
On Friday evening, acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Roop Nagar Station House Officer Pratima Sharma arrested Praduman.
