Two held for murder

NEW DELHI: Two young men have been arrested by the North-East Delhi police in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a man for ransom.

According to the police, the accused — Rakesh and Arun — kidnapped their friend Rattan Lal on October 10 and strangulated him to death. The two then made several ransom calls from his mobile phone demanding Rs.6 lakh from the family. The police were informed and the accused were arrested from Seva Dham Road over the weekend when they came to collect the ransom.
