Maoist remanded to judicial custody

ADILABAD: Maoist central committee member Tushar Kanti Bhattacharya was remanded to judicial custody by First Additional Sessions Judge S. Venkataramanaiah till November 15.

Jumped bail

He faces charges in the Tapalpur murder case of September 1976. The accused had jumped bail in the case and was arrested at Patna in Bihar recently. He was brought to the court by Luxettipet police in the morning.
