It is a wish of many people that Hindustani music tradition be popularised on Telugu radio, TV and cinema as it is attracting worldwide attention. It is not an exaggeration that many Hindi films and their music of the mid 20th century served the cause of national integration (much like English language for the rich and educated classes). Alongside our local traditions of music, we should make a study of the majestic Hindustani tradition. We should also encourage study of beautiful Western classical musical instruments like piano and violin. If we neglect the traditions of morality and art it will be only at great peril.

Purpose of home work
Most children dislike home work and few parents understand the purpose of it. The primary purpose of homework is to develop study habits among children. In most middle class homes, home work given to the child is more of a punishment for parents.
Quite a few elders in their anxiety end up doing the sums, in sheer desperation that their children should get full marks for the assignments.
It is found that when two or three children work together, each learn more than he would if studying alone. Teachers should find ways and means of varying the assignments in terms of content and length.
