Appeal

Chamarajanagar: Superintendent of Police, Chamarajangar, Srikantappa has appealed to the people to take out

a peaceful procession for immersion of Lord Ganesh idols in the town on Monday.

In a press release, Mr. Srikantappa said that over 1,000 security personnel had been deployed to maintain peace. He said the procession will start at 8.00 a.m and the idols will be immersed at Dodda Harishina pool before 10 p.m. — Correspondent
