Aditi, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, had gone missing on August 21 Accused dumped body in Churu with help from brother and mother NEW DELHI: An undergraduate student of Delhi University wanted in connection with the murder of his friend Aditi Gupta, whose body was found in Rajasthan last August, was arrested by the Delhi police from Peera Garhi over the weekend. Aditi Gupta, a resident of Jawahar Nagar, had gone missing on August 21. Her body was found at Churu in Rajasthan three days later. A case of murder was registered at the Rajgarh police station and three persons — Virender, Rajkumari and Umrao Singh — were arrested. Praduman, who was the prime accused, was however evading arrest. On Friday evening, acting on a tip-off, a police team led by Roop Nagar Station House Officer Pratima Sharma arrested Praduman. During interrogation, Praduman purportedly told the police that he was known to Aditi for more than a year but the relations between the two had soured of late as he suspected her of going around with others. On August 21, he went on a drive with Aditi and the two again had an argument over the same issue. He allegedly murdered her in a fit of anger and disposed of the body in Churu with the help of his mother and brother.
