IGNOU professor wins international award

NEW DELHI: An Indira Gandhi National Open University professor has won the UK-India Education and Research Initiative award. P. R. Ramanujam, Director at the Inter-University Consortium in IGNOU, had submitted a research proposal on “Distance Education for Sign Language Users” jointly developed with Ulrike Zeshan, Director of International Centre for Sign Languages and Deaf Studies at Central Lancashire University in Britain.
