CHENNAI: A railway official was caught by CBI’s Anti-Corruption Branch personnel here on Saturday when he demanded and accepted a bribe from a train passenger who had over-travelled.

According to a CBI officer, the Deputy Chief Ticket Inspector demanded Rs.500 from the passenger of Ennore, who along with his friend, travelled up to Guindy by a suburban train from Beach with the ticket valid up to Saidapet.
