Resolution for ensuring MSP will be passed, says Raghuveera Reddy

MAHABUBNAGAR: The Minister for Agriculture and horticulture N. Raghuveera Reddy informed that the farmers in the State have produced 100 lakh tonnes of food grains during current kharif season which is a record when compared with past 60 years. Addressing the Zilla Adarsha Rythu Sadassu after laying foundation stone for construction of Horticulture College at Mozerla village of Peddamandadi mandal on Sunday he said that a resolution would be passed in the coming assembly session to provide MSP to 13 varieties of agriculture produce. He said that the State has allocated an amount of Rs.22,650 crore for the benefit of farmers.
