Steps initiated to empower women SHGs

KARIMNAGAR: The district administration has embarked upon the task of economic empowerment programmes for women self-help group members by involving them in plantation of fruit-bearing plants in the open lands.

The administration has identified about 50,000 acres of open lands to take up plantation of fruit-bearing plants by the SHGs.
