ASC Sports School in semifinals

CHENNAI: ASC Sports School (Bangalore) entered the semifinals of the St. Paul’s RC 6th South Zone schools hockey tournament at the SDAT-Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium here on Sunday with a 6-0 win over Government HSS (Vadipatti).

Chandan Hind (3), Vijay, Shankar Babu and Nagalingasamy were the scorers. In another match, Selvakumar’s hat-trick enabled Christu Raja beat St. George’s School (Chennai) 8-0 to enter the last four.

The results: Ruskin School 3 (Hari Prasad, Bala Kumar 2) bt Madrasa-I-Azam 2 (Mustaq, Hussain Basha); Railway School (Kerala) 1 (Prabath) bt St. Paul’s HSS 0.
