CHENNAI: The Government will fill existing vacancies of 640 posts of typist and 170 of stenographer on a temporary basis.
Of this, 327 typist and 74 stenographer posts have been filled through the Chennai district employment exchange on the basis of seniority of registration.
For the remaining, applications have been called. Names of candidates recommended have been displayed on the notice board of the district employment exchange at Santhome. Interested candidates can contact the employment exchange office before November 9, according to a release from the Chennai Collectorate. — Special Correspondent
