Sangareddy: Medak District Collector B.Venkatesam sought the help of officers to place the district on the top in implementation of various welfare schemes.
According to a press release, the Collector organised a review meeting with the special officers. The Collector urged the department head to ensure that the mandal-level staff take the work on hand seriously.
He wanted Joint Collector Ramshankar Nayak and DRO Prakash Kumar to check mandal officer’s tour diary on monthly basis.
The Collector warned that here after, the monthly tour details should be accompanied by a report of the tour. He asked the joint collector to ensure that the number of beneficiaries are counted every month before issuing the kerosene coupons.
The Joint Director of Agriculture was asked to submit a report on mandal-wise rainfall, details on the extent of crop sown in the district.
He directed the Velugu project director to start distributing cattle under ‘Pasu Kranthi’ scheme from November 15.
The Collector announced that 25,000 jobs have been identified for the unemployed youth under the Rajiv Udyogasri programme.
