Shalini Rajaneesh to head women’s panel

Bangalore: Shalini Rajaneesh, Principal Secretary, Department of Women and Child Welfare, has been given additional charge as Chairperson of the Karnataka State Women’s Commission.

She will hear cases pending before the commission on Tuesdays and Fridays, according to a press release.

The post fell vacant after Pramila Nesargi was removed from the position by means of an Ordinance on Monday. — Special Correspondent
