Chandigarh: The Punjab Government is likely to introduce the system of e-filing of returns from January 1, 2008. An assurance to this effect was given by Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal to a delegation of industrialists from Ludhiana here on Tuesday. Mr. Badal also directed the Financial Commissioner, Taxation, S. S. Brar to extend the last date of the filling of C-forms from November 30, 2007 to March 31, 2008 and expedite the process of VAT refunding. PTI
