Youth participating in group singing competition in Rajahmundry on Tuesday.
Rajahmundry: Youth from about 100 colleges enjoyed the second day of the three-day youth festival ‘Yuva-07’ on Tuesday. Competitions like fancy dresses, group singing, classical solos, quiz, elocution, cartooning, spot painting and clay moulding were held on the day.
Media coordinator Sailaja said that group singing contest was held in Raja Raja Narendra Pranganam, while it was mini skit competitions in Sarangadhara Prangaranm. Students from colleges in Eluru, Srikakulam and Vizianagaram participated in the competitions.
“We have done skits in different styles. We did it in our own style. We are confident of getting a prize,” said Bhargavi, Vaishnavi, Santhosh and Malini from Visakhapatnam.
In Nannaya Pranganam, classical, vocal and instrumental and semi-classical music competitions were held.
Elocution competitions were conducted on different topics.
