Jewellery and cash stolen from house

Tiruchi: Jewellery weighing four sovereigns and Rs. 1,100 cash was reported stolen from a house at Rabi Nagar in Tiruvanaikoil in the city a few days ago when the inmates were away. Some unidentified culprits entered into the house after breaking the front door lock and stole the valuables, the police said.

Based on a complaint from the house owner P. Ambika the Srirangam police have registered a case.
