One should not try to light again crackers that have fizzled out
COIMBATORE: Eye Foundation here has cautioned the public on injuries they could sustain while lighting firecrackers during Deepavali.
Medical Director of the hospital D. Ramamurthy has said in a release that however busy they are, people should not allow children to light firecrackers alone.
Unused firecrackers should be kept away from fire and children should not be allowed to light firecrackers.
Dr. Ramamurthy said one should not try to light again crackers that had fizzled out.
They should be disposed of. Do not light crackers in a totally dark place, the release said.
