Youth killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: A 24-year-old youth was killed when the motorbike he was riding rammed against a stationary KSRTC bus at Nalanchira on Tuesday evening. He was identified as Anilkumar, of Keraladityapuram, Powdikonam. The body has been kept in the MCH mortuary.

Three teenage girls, all inmates of the pre-matric hostel at Venganoor, were admitted to the Medical College Hospital in the early hours on Tuesday after they were found to have consumed poison. Their condition was reported to be stable.
