Legal Correspondent

Hyderabad: A Division Bench of the High Court on Tuesday asked the government to inform the court by next Tuesday the steps it will take to ensure safety of the students who study in institutions which are situated in cellars and unauthorised buildings.

The bench was dealing with a batch of writ petitions that alleged that Villa Marie College, Somajiguda, was functioning in an illegal structure. The bench comprising Justice Bilal Nazki and Justice Ramesh Ranganathan was posing this question to the Advocate General who has been asked to assist the court in the case.
