Jayalalithaa to move court on condolence note issue

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa has said she will petition the Supreme Court questioning Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi’s act of issuing a condolence note for slain LTTE leader Thamilselvan.

There could be no doubt that the act of a leader of the State in condoling the death of a leader of an outfit banned by India was clearly anti-national, Ms. Jayalalithaa charged in a statement on Tuesday. Such a person could not be allowed to continue as Chief Minister, she added.
