Correction

In a report “State Governments urged to sanction funds for new courts” (Chennai city, November 5, 2007, page 9), the first paragraph was “India needs 5,000 more judicial courts to deal with over 2.56 lakh cases pending --- and the State Governments must pay for them, according to Chief Justice of India K.G. Balakrishnan.” It should have been 2.56 crore cases. – Readers’ Editor
