Man wandering in Poes Garden area held

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: The Teynampet police secured a 24-year-old man wandering in the Poes Garden area here on Monday.

R. Kannan of T. Kunnathur near Madurai was found to be mentally disturbed.

The police, who admitted him to a home for the mentally ill, said he was moving in suspicious circumstances.

When questioned, he was unable to answer properly.

“Missing”

The police also enquired with Kannan’s relatives at T. Kunnathur, who said he was missing for the past two days.
