Deepavali greetings

BANGALORE: Governor Rameshwar Thakur has greeted the people of Karnataka on the eve of Deepavali. In a message, the Governor said: “On the auspicious occasion of Deepavali, the festival of lights, I warmly greet and convey good wishes to all the people of the State. Deepavali is the time to display our rich and varied culture. The heritage of India through ancient times is a dynamic one which expresses itself in many forms and the occasions like these festivals are the most likely time for such celebrations.” — Staff Reporter
