Rally for waiver of farm loan

KORAPUT: Kishan Khet Mazdoor Congress, under the banner of Koraput District Congress Committee, took out a rally at Koraput demanding waiver of agricultural loans of farmers in the State like that was done with IMFA while waiving a loan of Rs.2,300 crores by the State government.

It also asked the government to provide a minimum of 100 days of agricultural work for marginal farmers.

It threatened to intensify the agitation if the government failed to respond positively to its demand.
