New schemes from BSNL for Deepavali

PUDUCHERRY: BSNL Puducherry has a special offer to all BSNL post-paid subscribers for Deepavali. They are offering a free Excel General SIM card to all post-paid customers on the production of current month’s original invoice and acknowledgement.

According to a press release issued by the BSNL, the invoice should be produced at the Customer Care Centre and there is no need for submitting a fresh application for this SIM card.

BSNL has also introduced ‘Night speak facility’ for prepaid (Except ‘Excel Ananth’ customers) and all post-paid mobile users. They have slashed the charges for all local and STD calls to own network during off peak hours, which is between 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., by 50 per cent. The cost of local SMS also has been cut down by 50 per cent during this period. From November 1, BSNL has introduced “Excel SUMO” a new prepaid scheme with a SIM card priced at Rs. 249 and having one year validity, talk value of Rs.30, and 365 local SMS free.

With an easy to install plug and play modem, BSNL is introducing a new ‘Broadband Multiply’ system. ‘Call Now’ cards have been introduced for STD and ISD users in the denominations of Rs.100, Rs 300, Rs 500, Rs 1000 and Rs 2000.
