Train services disrupted

KANCHEEPURAM: Services on the Dindivanam-Chennai section was disrupted for about an hour on Wednesday morning following a ‘crack’ on rails.

The driver of the Kanyakumari-Chennai Express experienced vibration while crossing a point between Madurantakam and Karunkuzhi and alerted the Chengalpattu Station Master when the train reached there around 6-30 a.m.

Immediately, trains passing through Madurantakam-Karunkuzhi sector were detained. The section was thrown open for traffic around 7-30 a.m. — Staff Reporter
