NALGONDA: A MPDO has been placed under suspension for her role in irregularities in the employment guarantee scheme implemented in the remote Chandampet in Nalgonda district. The then MPDO of Chandampet, Venkatamma was placed under suspension after conducting a preliminary inquiry into the corruption charges. An additional PO Srinivas was also suspended and two computer operators were removed from their services. A criminal case was booked against the duo, it said. –Staff Reporter
